Being who they are they a never short of a juicy brief, and hardly have to put up with the bread and butter projects, although even their ‘bread and butter’ will drop your jaw.

On the lookout for a Studio Manager! Currently the Studio responsibilities are being shared amongst the Account Management team but they do require someone much more dedicated to the needs and wants of the Studio. The ideal candidate for the role will have already experienced working within and agency environment, whilst taking on Studio responsibilities to maintain the smooth running of the studio.

A typical day could see you being front of house, meeting and greeting visitors and answering the telephone, handling post, diary and contact database management for the Directors and staff. To Booking travel arrangements, couriers and deliveries nationally and internationally.

Administrative tasks could include preparation of documents, letters, scans to managing and updating studio policies, renewing insurance policies, procedures, systems, documents and templates, filing, archiving and best not forget the shredding. Maintaining overall tidiness of the studio, ordering stationary and supplies.

You will have also experienced working with financial aspect of studio management as you will be creating job numbers on the job costing system, matching and managing purchase invoices, PO's, expenses, post invoices, petty cash and timesheets management.

There will be Personal Assistant based tasks to carry out mainly for the Managing Directors, and to provide support to the Account Management and Design team. Along with managing all new comers, contracts, appraisals, logging holidays and sickness.

Operational side will see you managing IT, don’t worry you want need to be the dedicated IT support but you will need to liaise with the IT support in order to ensure systems are maintained and updated. Management, checks and implementation of Health and Safety, Fire, First Aid, Electrical equipment, Lighting and Heating. At the Studio you will be required to manage the keys, security and be the point of call for the landlord.

Whilst being Part Time is key, there is flexibility with the hours however you will be required to be at the agency 5 days a week. This is a new role for our agency, they have been a fairly small team up until recently but as they turn the corner too move into being a small to medium size team they do require a Studio Manager to work their magic.
